Atlantis
In the myth of Atlantis, Plato described how a greedy society was destroyed in one night by a powerful tidal wave from the sea. Today, the sea not only poses a threat to humanity, but humanity also poses a threat to the sea by a tidal wave of plastic. How bizarre when you realise that all life once originated from the sea and that one of those life forms now poses a threat to the origin of life. Plastic that I picked up from the beach has been made into a mosaic that ironically provides color to all the special forms of life that I created.
